National Scholarship for Science and Engineering Majors

  • The National Scholarship for Science and Engineering Majors is awarded to freshmen students with excellent academic standing and university students who maintain a GPA of 3.50 or higher. This scholarship covers the university entrance fee, tuition fees, and other university fees.

Scholarship for University Entrance Fee and Tuition Waiver

  • The Scholarship for University Entrance Fee and Tuition Waiver is awarded to students whose academic achievements in the University belong to the top 30% of their class year. This scholarship covers tuition fees and other fees.

National Scholarship for Underprivileged Students with Good Academic Achievements

  • The National Scholarship for Underprivileged Students with Good Academic Achievements is awarded to underprivileged students whose academic achievements in high school were within the fourth group or higher out of the nine groups and whose SAT scores were within the fourth group or higher out of the nine groups. In order to get the scholarship, each scholarship recipient has to maintain a 90% average or higher while studying at the university.

National "Future Dream" Scholarship for Underprivileged Students with good Academic Achievements

  • The National "Future Dream" Scholarship for Underprivileged Students with good Academic Achievements is awarded to underprivileged students whose academic standing in high school was within the sixth group or higher out of the nine groups. In order to keep this scholarship, each scholarship recipient has to maintain a GPA of 2.50 or higher while studying at the university.

National "Hope" Scholarship

  • The National "Hope" Scholarship is awarded to students who maintain a GPA of 2.50 or higher while studying at the university.

Labor Scholarship

  • The Labor scholarship is awarded to the students who work part-time for the faculty and administrative offices.

Relay Scholarship

  • The Relay Scholarship is a trust fund scholarship where money donated to the Relay Foundation is awarded to the selected recipient as a scholarship. In return, the scholarship recipient should entrust the same amount of trust money or more to their junior as a scholarship after graduating from university and getting a job. The Relay Scholarship is awarded to students whose academic achievements in the university belong to the top 70% of the students in their year.

Outside Scholarships

  • These scholarships include the Alumni Association Scholarship, the Gwangju Bank Scholarship, the Woodang Scholarship of the Daewoo Foundation, the Memorial Scholarship for the late Kim Yungjae, and other scholarships that are awarded to enrolled university students who meet the specified requirements and are selected.
